1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Koko to a Discord server, installing it as a user app, or using any of its commands, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, remove the application and stop using it. These Terms apply alongside Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which continue to govern your use of Discord itself.
2. What Koko Is
Koko is a Discord application that displays payment details, generates QR codes and invoices, records deals and vouches, surfaces market data, and publishes safety alerts. Koko is not a bank, exchange, escrow service, broker, or money transmitter. It does not hold, route, or take custody of any funds, and it is not a party to any transaction between users.
3. Eligibility
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13 years, or higher where local law requires) and be legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use Koko if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, including export control and sanctions regulations.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Koko to:
- Facilitate fraud, scams, money laundering, or the sale of illegal goods and services.
- Impersonate Koko staff, or claim a verification or trust status you have not been granted.
- Submit false deals or vouches, or manipulate reputation records in any way.
- Abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or automate access to the application or its underlying services.
- Harass other users, or publish someone's payment details without their consent.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the payment details and addresses you save, for verifying the identity of your counterparty, and for complying with the tax, reporting and financial laws that apply to you. Koko never asks for private keys, seed phrases, exchange credentials or 2FA codes; anyone who does is impersonating the bot and should be reported.
6. Deal and Vouch Data
Deals, volumes and vouches are user-submitted records. Volume tracking is a reputation signal, not escrow, insurance, or a guarantee of anyone's conduct. Staff may review, correct, or remove entries that are false, duplicated, or abusive, and may restrict accounts that misuse the ledger.
8. Availability and Changes
Koko is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may be added, changed, rate-limited, or discontinued at any time, and no uptime guarantee is offered. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse of the service, or legal requirements.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Koko does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Market data, balances, gas metrics and transaction information are provided for convenience and may be delayed or inaccurate. You trade at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from trades between users, market movements, incorrect addresses or networks, third-party outages, or Discord platform failures. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as the service evolves. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date, and continued use of Koko after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
